Starring: Aaron, Bobbie Jean, Angel, Nick and Leslie Carter “ The last thing the world needs is another reality show for no frickin’ reason,” says Nick Carter, the blondest and youngest of the Backstreet Boys. So what’s the frickin’ reason for this one? “We put it all on the table,” He says about House of Carters, a look inside the mega- dysfunctional home life of Nick, brother Aaron, and sisters Leslie, Angel, and Bobbie Jean Carter. As the eldest, Nick felt it was his duty to bring the brood together after a rather turbulent past. The result records every last catfight and group hug, all against the backdrop of Nick’s struggles with his solo career. “The cameras were rolling from 8 in the morning till 2 in the morning, so they pretty much captured all the chaos,” he says. Caught for posterity: a fistfight between Nick and Aaron, who wouldn’t turn down his stereo late one night, and a subsequent house call from the family shrink. Meanwhile, the three sisters strive for their piece of the pop-star pie. “We hadn’t been living under one roof for awhile,” Nick says. “So the cool thing is, the show brought us all closer together.” All together now: Awww!
